




The Basdaku White Beach in the municipality of Moalboal is a popular beach in Cebu known for its white sand and a crystal-clear water. It can also be spelled as Basdako White Beach.
Name Origin
The word basdaku or basdako came from root words “bas” or “balas” which means sand, and “dako” or “daku” which means big. So, the word “basdaku” or “basdako” means big sand. In fact, it is one of the long and big beaches in Moalboal area that has white sands, hence the name Basdaku White Beach.
Attraction
Everyday, tourists from different places including from other countries will stop over in this beach. This is also a good beach for sun bathing.
