The Cambanog Falls in the municipality of Dumanjug, Cebu, is one of the unique falls because of its perpendicular edge that resulted in a wide stretch downpour of water. This waterfalls sits in a broken layered rocks that looks like a concrete pavement. Also, it has sharp edges.
This waterfall is almost situated in boundary between four Cebu municipalities, namely: Dumanjug, Ronda, Argao and Sibonga.
Accessibility
Going there is not that easy. The falls and the path is not well-developed yet. You may cross some DIY bridge, cross shallow river with some slippery rocks, and ascend or descend on a slightly slippery steep narrow path. I highly recommend to have a local tour guide with you since this falls is a bit far from the parking area where I’ve parked.
Safety
Someone told me that the water level of the falls would increase suddenly if it rains somewhere or nearby, so be careful during rainy season. Also, I highly recommend wearing trekking sandals or shoes as this will help increase your safety.
