The Osmeña Peak in the municipality of Dalaguete is the highest peak in the entire Cebu with an elevation of 1,072.6 (1073) meters above sea level (MASL). It is part of the Dalaguete mountain ranges that comprises some of the famous peaks in the area, namely: Kandungaw Peak, Casino Peak (Lugsangan Peak) and Tabon Peak.
Accessibility
The trailhead of Osmeña Peak is located near the peak itself and it is accessible via motorcycle or car. So, this is only a slight short walk going to the summit of the peak.
Community
The people of Dalaguete, especially in the highlands are tourist-oriented. Sometimes, kids will greet you even if you are inside the car with windows closed and sees nothing.
Livelihood
Their primary livelihood is farming. The highlands of Dalaguete is sometimes windy and has a colder temperature. It is a primary supplier for vegetables that thrive in cold temperature.
