The Malapascua Island (also known as “Logon Island”) in the municipality of Daanbantayan is a famous island in Cebu with a top-tier beaches. You may also encounter someone says “Bantayan (island)”, he or she is referring to another municipality of Cebu and it is totally different from Daanbantayan, so don’t be confused with this as there are many tourists who were baffled about this.
When viewed from above, this island has a long, curve stretch of white sand and a crystal-clear water that you can enjoy.

❓ HOW TO GET THERE?
🏃 Upon arrival at Maya Roro Port (Daanbantayan), go to TOURISM OFFICE to PAY the required fees.
🎟 BUY YOUR BOAT TICKET:
▪️ Go to yellow container van booth (left side outside of the Tourism Office)
💵 STANDARD BOAT FARE: ₱200.00/head (one way)
ℹ️ FIRST BOAT: Departs at 7:00 AM
🛑 LAST BOAT: Departs at 5:30 PM
💁 Boat leaves every 30 minutes depending on availability and number of passengers. A boat needs at least 15 passengers to depart. If fewer than 15 passengers, each may be asked to pay extra to reach a total of ₱3,000.00 (cost of one trip). If passengers decline to pay extra, the trip may be delayed up to 30 minutes until enough passengers arrive (15 or more).
⌚️ VOYAGE DURATION: Around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
⛵️ PRIVATE BOAT (optional):
▪️ You can hire a private boat for ₱3,000.00 per way (good for up to 15 passengers).
🚗 If you are bringing CAR or MOTORCYCLE, there is a private pay parking area nearby.
🅿️ PAY PARKING FEE (private): ₱100.00/day (car)
🏠 There are also available many rooms & hotels with different rates in the island.
🚫 As of this posting, there is no car in the island. Primary mode of transportations within the island are walking and by motorcycle.
