Virgin Island Description
The Virgin Island (also known as “Silion Island”) in the municipality of Santa Fe is one of the most famous and popular islands in entire Cebu known for its powdery white sand beach and a crystal-clear water.
The island offers a picturesque tropical setting with its long stretch of white sandbar surrounded by turquoise waters. During low tide, a wider portion of the sandbar becomes visible, allowing visitors to walk along the shoreline and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery. The clear and shallow waters around the island are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and observing various marine life.
Visitors can also enjoy relaxing activities such as sunbathing, taking photographs, and experiencing the peaceful atmosphere away from the busy mainland. The surrounding ocean view provides a beautiful backdrop, especially during sunrise and sunset when the sky reflects vibrant colors across the water. The island is also a popular stopover destination for island-hopping tours because of its natural beauty and accessibility from nearby ports.

Bantayan Island
The Bantayan Island is comprised of three municipalities, namely: Santa Fe, Bantayan and Madridejos. So, when someone says “Bantayan”, he or she is referring only to the municipality of Bantayan, Cebu. When someone says “Bantayan Island”, he or she is referring to the entire island which include the three municipalities. The largest municipality of the island is Bantayan.
You may also encounter someone says “Daanbantayan”, he or she is referring to another municipality of Cebu and it is totally different from Bantayan or Bantayan Island, so don’t be confused with this as there are many tourists who were baffled about this.

🤔 HOW TO GET THERE?
🏃 Go to the boat anchorage area at Barangay Sillon, Bantayan Island (near/fronting Sillon Barangay Hall).

▪️ 6-10 persons: ₱2,500.00 (back and forth)
▪️ 11-15 persons: ₱3,000.00 (back and forth)

🅿️ There is a wide open space FREE PARKING area for both CAR and MOTORCYCLE near the boat anchorage area.
