The Virgin Island (also known as “Silion Island”) in the municipality of Santa Fe is one of the most famous and popular islands in entire Cebu known for its powdery white sand beach and a crystal-clear water.
Bantayan Island
The Bantayan Island is comprised of three municipalities, namely: Santa Fe, Bantayan and Madridejos. So, when someone says “Bantayan”, he or she is referring only to the municipality of Bantayan, Cebu. When someone says “Bantayan Island”, he or she is referring to the entire island which include the three municipalities. The largest municipality of the island is Bantayan.
You may also encounter someone says “Daanbantayan”, he or she is referring to another municipality of Cebu and it is totally different from Bantayan or Bantayan Island, so don’t be confused with this as there are many tourists who were baffled about this.

🏃 Go to the boat anchorage area at Barangay Sillon, Bantayan Island (near/fronting Sillon Barangay Hall).
