Tay-ong Falls / Lusno Falls Description
The Tay-ong Falls, also known as Lusno Falls in the municipality of Argao, Cebu, is one of the amazing picturesque waterfalls. It has a dull-shaped edge (like a crown) that results in scattered flow of water.
The waterfall cascades gracefully into a clear natural pool, providing a refreshing place for visitors to swim and cool off. The surrounding forest and lush vegetation create a peaceful atmosphere, making the area ideal for relaxation and nature appreciation. The distinctive crown-like rock formation gives the waterfall a unique appearance that sets it apart from many other waterfalls in Cebu. During the rainy season, the increased water volume enhances the beauty of the cascading flow while preserving its elegant curtain-like appearance. The rock formations around the falls offer scenic viewpoints for photography, but visitors should exercise caution as the surfaces may become wet and slippery. The soothing sound of flowing water and the cool mountain air contribute to the tranquil ambiance of the site. Visitors are encouraged to help preserve the natural beauty of Tay-ong Falls by practicing responsible tourism, avoiding littering, and respecting the surrounding environment.
This waterfall is almost situated in boundary between four Cebu municipalities, namely: Dumanjug, Ronda, Argao and Sibonga.
